Poppies

‘Poppies’: Oil on Canvas 40cm * 60cm

This painting was a joy to do. With the setting sun dancing on the poppy heads and peaching up the clouds. For me, reminiscent of fields in the UK, I used to play in as a child, a complete sweep of red, as far as my eyes could see. Of course, now covered in red brick houses and the poppies all gone.
